Al Bustan Hotel, Muscat, Oman.
A large white hotel with palm trees, surrounded by dark jagged mountains. The luxurious Al Bustan Palace SE of Muscat, Oman.
The hotel is huge and the main hall built like a mosque.
The dark rocks are from the Oman Ophiolites, oceanic crust that rose up from the sea and thrusted over the land from NE to Sw during the collision of the Arabian and Eurasian plates, some 10-15 million years ago.
